Site Reliability/ Automation Engineer

Cititec Talent is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability/ Automation Engineer to join our team for a 6-month initial contract with a Tier 1 bank.

This is a fully remote working opportunity.

The initial contract duration is 6 months.

The daily rate for this position is up to £550 (Inside IR35).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement DevOps principles and patterns, with a strong focus on CI/CD pipeline delivery and configuration.
  • Develop a solid understanding of Site Reliability Engineering or Platform Engineering principles.
  • Utilize excellent coding skills in Python, Bash, or Perl to implement API testing and automation.
  • Deploy and test infrastructure as code, leveraging experience with storage solutions (File, Object, block, etc.).
  • Test APIs using Postman, Selenium, and BDD, and ensure seamless integration with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and CloudBees.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and patterns.
  • Experience with Site Reliability Engineering or Platform Engineering.
  • Excellent coding skills in Python, Bash, or Perl.
  • API testing and automation expertise.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and storage solutions.
  • CI/CD, Jenkins, CloudBees, and API testing tools.
