Job Summary:

Petrofac is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer Contractor to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our project managers and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to project managers and engineers on project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Develop and monitor the Technical Delivery Report (TDR) to ensure project progress and milestones are met.
  • Review and expedite project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Support engineering leads in delivering project objectives and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Provide interface between management and engineering teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Support proposal development, including narrative, background data sourcing, and contract writing.
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the Project Manager, Engineering Manager, or corporate line manager.

Deliverables:

  • Input into and review of:
    • Project execution schedule, plan
    • Scope of work
    • Weekly and monthly reports
    • Risk and assumptions registers
    • TQ and STQ register
    • Cost estimate
    • Project close-out report
  • Attendance at and input to:
    • Weekly meetings
    • Workshops, including HAZOP, constructability, etc.
    • Interface and other client meetings
    • Internal project and management meetings

Quality Assurance:

Documents will be checked for quality, completeness, and accuracy to ensure they meet Petrofac's quality and acceptance criteria and the end client's requirements. Correction and resubmission of deliverables will be required where this is not the case.
