Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Threat Analyst to join our team at Smart DCC. As a Cybersecurity Threat Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and monitoring the organization's cyber security measures, working on a 3 shift pattern monthly rotation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Forensic Analysis and Gather Evidence: Conduct thorough forensic analysis and gather evidence to identify and investigate security incidents.
- Assist in Gathering Forensic Data and Physical Equipment: Assist in gathering forensic data and physical equipment to support incident response and investigation.
- Conduct Security Assessments: Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and perform risk analysis.
- Generate Reports: Generate reports for IT administrators, business managers, and security leaders to provide insights and recommendations.
- Advise and Implement Changes: Advise and implement necessary changes required to counter attacks or improve security standards.
- Keep Security Systems Up-to-Date: Keep security systems up to date and contribute to security strategies to ensure the security of the client network.
- Perform Internal and External Security Audits: Perform internal and external security audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Verify Third-Party Vendors: Verify the security strength of third-party vendors and collaborate with them to ensure security standards are met.
- Monitor Security Infrastructure: Monitor security infrastructure to identify and report real-time attacks and vulnerabilities on the client network.
- Identify and Analyze Incidents: Identify incidents and analyze and investigate to determine their severity and the response required.
- Ensure Incident Reporting: Ensure that incidents are correctly reported and documented in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Provide Technical Escalation Point: Provide a Technical Escalation Point during security incidents, establishing the extent of an attack, the business impacts, and advising on how best to contain the incident.
- Maintain Knowledge of Evolving Threats: Maintain a keen understanding of evolving threats and vulnerabilities to ensure the security of the client network.
- Update Documentation and Processes: Update Protective Monitoring/SOC documentation, processes, and procedures as required.
Requirements:
Intermediate knowledge and experience of Linux, Windows, AWS, and Office 365 security centre.
