About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Postperson with Driving to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a Postperson with Driving, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and cars, to transport mail and packages
  • Sort and process mail and packages in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets

Requirements

  • Valid UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.54
  • Overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate
  • 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata)
