About the Role

The company has a strong focus on quality and on-time delivery performance, with over 30 years of ISO9001 certification and currently pursuing AS9100D certification to support its growth in the aero & defence markets.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Manager will be the head of all quality-related functions within the business, reporting to the directors. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards
  • Ensuring effective application of the QMS throughout all functions of the business and extended supply chain
  • Collaborating with manufacturing teams to maintain high-quality standards and compliance with industry regulations, including ISO9001, AS9100D, & TS16949
  • Monitoring performance versus internal & external KPIs and developing systems to effectively reduce CoPQ
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of QMS development and implementation, per industry standards
  • Direct knowledge of internal auditing best practice
  • Familiarity with precision inspection metrology and methodology
  • Ability to interpret 2D technical drawings and 3D models
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead and work in a team environment
