We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Driver/Loader at Veolia. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient collection and disposal of waste and recyclables in the Bridgnorth and Craven Arms areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Collecting and transporting waste and recyclables from domestic properties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Loading and unloading waste and recyclables from vehicles, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
- Conducting regular vehicle checks to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Operating a range of vehicles, including HGVs, and adhering to all relevant traffic laws and legislation.
- Recording and reporting work completed, including any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Providing excellent customer service and interacting with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Class 2 HGV licence and up-to-date CPC.
- Digi/Tachograph card.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Flexibility to work overtime when required.
- Previous experience in a public-facing role, preferably in a similar industry.
