About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker Specialist to join our Mental Health service in Newham.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of mental health issues and a commitment to providing high-quality support to our customers.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and external agencies.

The role involves assessing referrals, providing rapid response, and supporting customers with housing referrals, budgeting tools, and accessing benefits.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer-centered care and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing referrals and providing rapid response
  • Supporting customers with housing referrals and budgeting tools
  • Accessing benefits and addressing issues such as homelessness
  • Building relationships with local boroughs and agencies
  • Support planning and medication reviews
  • Proactively engaging in learning and development activities
  • Monitoring and reporting on customer interactions
