About the Role

We are seeking a highly-motivated and organized analyst to join our Research team at Swaps Monitor. As a globally-minded company with offices in New York, London, Delhi, and Manila, we provide forward-looking, date-related financial data to our customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage research products and ensure timely delivery of accurate data to our customers.
  • Monitor inter-bank settlement holidays, trading hours, expiry dates, and economic events for assigned financial centers.
  • Analyze gathered information to ensure published data accuracy, leveraging extensive knowledge of each financial center's habits, patterns, and culture.
  • Study relevant people, institutions, laws, and regulations that form primary sources of information for assigned research topics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from across the world in virtual teams to complete projects within target deadlines and standards.
  • Negotiate with Central Bank, Stock Exchange, FX Trade Support, and CSD officials globally.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Training and Development

As part of our Research Analyst training program, you will enhance your knowledge of financial markets, cultures, and country expertise, learn about our products, and build relationships throughout our international offices. The program covers financial concepts and institutions, including Central Banks, Stock Exchanges, Central Securities Depositories, Clearinghouses, Equities, Bonds, Derivatives, and Foreign Exchange. This role is focused on research, not finance or banking.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Finance, Economics, International Relations, Political Science, or Management preferred).
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese or Spanish required.
  • Proficiency in Excel essential.
  • Self-motivated and independent worker.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cultural background or educational ties in Latin America, Portugal, or Spain beneficial.
  • Familiarity with Latin America, Portugal, or Spain regions desired.
  • Cultural knowledge and on-the-ground experience valuable, as research involves frequent communication and relationship-building.
  • Knowledge of additional languages a plus.
About the Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Benefits include a hybrid working environment, weekly team lunches, private pension matching, health insurance, and international travel opportunities.
