Senior Decision Science Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to the development of advanced analytics solutions to accurately value portfolios for investment and increase profit on previous purchases.
  2. Apply machine learning and advanced analytical techniques to increase prediction accuracy.
  3. Continuously improve existing models and create new tools/models for analysis and valuation of potential accounts/portfolios.
  4. Present and explain valuations and predictions to the Investment Committee and stakeholders.
  5. Analyze data and raw information through statistical analysis to discover trends and patterns that can be used to extract valuable business insights.
  6. Develop predictive models, such as scorecards, using statistical tools and techniques.
  7. Contribute to internal Analytical Labs to stay at the forefront of modeling, predictive analytics, and business insights.
Candidate Profile:
  1. Significant experience (3 years +) working with large data sets and using quantitative analysis to drive business results.
  2. Experience in using statistical computing languages R, Python, or SAS to manipulate data and draw insights from those data sets.
  3. Experience with databases (SQL) is beneficial.
  4. Strong problem-solving and creative skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  5. Experience and interest in model development.
  6. High level of integrity and dependability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  7. Ability to communicate and interact with various people at all levels, and to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
