Service Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team in Wigan, providing comprehensive on-the-job training and an extensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts and associated equipment
  2. Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment
  3. Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
  4. Spares placed in van overnight
Requirements:
  1. Experience with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment; automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
  2. Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills
  3. Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject

We offer a competitive salary, paid door-to-door travel, overtime at 1.5 and 2.0, a fully expensed van, fuel card, pension scheme, training package, and 25 days holiday.
