Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving and operating a HGV RORO vehicle, collecting waste from our sites and disposing of it at various tipping points.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive and operate HGV vehicle in line with tachograph laws
  • Pre-inspect vehicle, report any defects in a timely manner for rectification
  • Complete relevant paperwork as required by the business and legislation
  • Keep the vehicle clean and report any damage in line with company procedure

Requirements

  • HGV Driving Licence
  • Driver CPC and Tachograph card
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Reasonable level of competence in English Language (speaking, reading, and writing) and basic arithmetic
  • Positive 'can do' attitude
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexible approach
