Role/Department

As the Director of Process Engineering, you will play a critical role in driving the development of company-wide capabilities to effectively manage our value chains and associated vulnerabilities, risks, and controls.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining process engineering methodology, standards, and tools
  • Developing an approach and operating model to build process engineering capabilities across the firm
  • Leading the delivery of enterprise-level initiatives to complete value chain mapping and interdependency analysis for all NT legal entities globally
  • Executing Resiliency Stress Scenario testing for critical interdependencies
  • Building out a scenario library and horizon scanning process to identify potential disruptions to critical value chains
  • Identifying and managing process optimization opportunities
  • Operationalizing Vulnerability Assessment and Management approach in each Business Unit, including Issue Management/Risk Treatment
  • Creating required training materials to embed Operational Resiliency Framework
  • Overseeing the maintenance of the value chain and interdependency map
  • Reporting vulnerabilities and actions plans arising from vulnerability management/risk treatment actions to governance
  • Running a continuous improvement and change management program
  • Managing allocated capital, expense, and resources

Skills/Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with:

  • Strong analytical skills – ability to structure and execute process mapping, analyses, and assessment
  • Strong process design skills – ability to define target output for a given process and use various levers to re-engineer it to achieve those outputs
  • Experience with process simulations and standard operating procedures
  • Knowledge of process engineering software systems
  • Previous experience with large-scale change programs focused on process optimization
  • Experience with the establishment and build-out of process engineering Centers of Excellence/hub and spoke operating models
  • Experience with relevant risk programs (e.g., stress testing, business continuity and disaster recovery, incident management)
  • Experience with risk remediation, including root cause analyses, control design, and implementation
  • Ability to build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the company, coupled with the ability to reason, persuade, and influence effectively various stakeholders
  • Management consulting experience
  • Several years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Process automation experience
  • Experience with agile ways of working
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma)
