Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mathematics Curriculum Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our mathematics curriculum, ensuring that it meets the needs of all students, particularly those who are disadvantaged.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a mathematics curriculum that is engaging, challenging, and relevant to the needs of all students.
  • Lead the development of schemes of work and resources that cater to the needs of Pupil Premium students.
  • Quality assure teaching and learning in mathematics, ensuring that it is of the highest standard.
  • Develop and deliver training to staff to improve their subject knowledge and pedagogical subject knowledge, particularly in relation to Pupil Premium students.
  • Collaborate with other departments to share best practice and improve outcomes for Pupil Premium students.
  • Stay up-to-date with current educational research and disseminate findings to inform curriculum development and teaching practices.
Requirements
  • A track record of good to exceptional teaching and leadership.
  • Experience of developing and implementing curricula that meet the needs of disadvantaged students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • A passion for improving outcomes for Pupil Premium students and a commitment to closing the attainment gap.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team, with a focus on developing the skills and knowledge of staff.
