About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to drive the delivery of top-notch tools from your team, ensuring that colleagues across disciplines have the resources they need to excel. As a senior team member, you will share your expertise with junior colleagues to maintain high-quality code throughout the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure exceptional quality work is produced throughout the team, leveraging automated testing processes
  • Collaborate closely with content teams to provide necessary tools and identify areas for improvement
  • Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the quality of all work
  • Contribute to and foster a collaborative, creative team spirit
Requirements
  • Experience as a Tools Engineer on one or more AAA titles
  • Knowledge of common DCC tools, such as 3DS Max, Maya, Substance Suite, and Houdini
  • Passion for tools development and improving the working environment of others
  • Solid understanding of code architecture best practices
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for gaming and game development
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5 on a AAA title
  • Experience mentoring other Engineers
  • Experience supporting remote teams
  • Experience in planning and delivering large bodies of work throughout the project lifecycle
