Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced High-Voltage Power Electronics Specialist to join our team at Platform Recruitment. This role is ideal for a skilled engineer with expertise in designing and developing high-voltage power electronics systems and components.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a talented individual to take on a leadership role in the development of high-voltage power electronics systems and components. As a High-Voltage Power Electronics Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced power electronics systems and components, including DC-DC converters, AC-DC converters, and battery charging circuits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop High-Voltage Power Electronics Systems and Components: Utilize your expertise to design and develop high-voltage power electronics systems and components that meet or exceed customer requirements.
  • Create and Maintain Detailed Design Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation of designs, including schematics, bills of materials, and test procedures.
  • Work Closely with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineering, software engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of power electronics systems and components.
  • Conduct Performance Testing and Analysis: Perform thorough testing and analysis of power electronics systems and components to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering: A degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required.
  • 3+ Years of Experience in Power Electronics and Power Supply Design: Proven experience in designing and developing power electronics systems and components is essential.
  • Experience with Switch-Mode Power Supplies and Linear Regulators: Familiarity with switch-mode power supplies and linear regulators is necessary.
  • Understanding of EMI/EMC Considerations: A strong understanding of electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) considerations is required.
