Job Title: Senior Refrigeration Engineer - Technical Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Refrigeration Engineer to join our team as a Technical Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of refrigeration engineers and providing technical expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of refrigeration engineers to ensure the delivery of PPM, reactive, and testing work streams.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to engineers to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Develop and implement technical standards and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across the operation.
  • Manage a budget and service delivery in a cost-effective manner while ensuring compliance with customer and company Health & Safety requirements.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner and develop strong working relationships with customers, internal teams, and regional engineers.

Requirements:

  • NVQ in Refrigeration or equivalent.
  • City and Guilds 2079 refrigerant handling.
  • 5 years of refrigeration experience, ideally in a multi-client contracted environment.
  • Ability to maintain and repair a range of electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Working knowledge of the maintenance service within the FM industry.
  • Previous experience of leading and managing a team.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Strong results focus and accountability for own performance and that of the team.
