Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated teacher to join our team as a Year 6 specialist in a progressive school located in the heart of Wandsworth, Southwest London. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent academic results.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position starting from April 2024, requiring a qualified teacher with QTS, PGCE or equivalent.
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum, focusing on individual learning targets, encouraging strengths, and improving weaknesses.
  • The role also involves pastoral care of children, promoting teamwork, and cultivating a conducive learning environment.
Responsibilities
  1. Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum, including maths, English, science, and other subjects.
  2. Preparing students for SATs exams and monitoring their progress regularly.
  3. Keeping track of children's performance and reporting back to parents occasionally.

  • Able to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential.
