Job Title: Lecturer in Health and Social Care
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lecturer in Health and Social Care to join our team at West Lothian College. As a Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students, developing course materials, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our college's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lectures and tutorials to students on a range of health and social care courses
- Develop and maintain course materials, including online resources and assessments
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes
- Contribute to the development of the college's health and social care provision
Requirements:
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification and have experience of teaching in a further education setting
- Have a strong understanding of the health and social care sector and its current developments
- Be able to work effectively in a team and contribute to the college's goals
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
