Job Title: Trainer/Assessor - Construction Management

Location: Remote with occasional national travel

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000

Benefits: Company car or annual allowance of £4,000

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality NVQ assessments in Construction Site Management, utilising expertise to support learners in achieving their qualifications.
  2. Collaborate closely with Site Managers and clients to track and support candidates' progress, ensuring learners receive tailored guidance and support throughout their learning journey.
  3. Administer and assess NVQ candidates, providing comprehensive support and feedback to enhance their learning experience.
  4. Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to ensure learners meet the required standards, participating in standardisation meetings to maintain assessment consistency.
  5. Engage with NVQ administration, Plant NVQ, and Apprenticeship teams to ensure seamless delivery of NVQs in Construction Site Management.

Required Experience and Skills:

  1. Proven vocational competence in Construction Site Management, with a strong understanding of NVQ requirements.
  2. Hold a Management qualification, with a strong background in Construction management.
  3. Experience with face-to-face and remote teaching, coaching, and assessment, with a hands-on approach to engaging learners in workshops and one-on-one coaching.
  4. Assessor qualifications, such as TAQA or CAVA, with excellent communication and organisational skills to manage multiple learners and adapt to individual needs.
  5. A collaborative mindset, eager to contribute to a close-knit team that values innovation and success.
