About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated GP to join our team as a Salaried GP in a highly regarded training practice.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a forward-thinking environment, combining the valued elements of a traditional family practice with a progressive attitude.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality patient care, including surgery consultations, telephone consultations, and home visits.
  • Participating in the on-call duty doctor rota for urgent care.
  • Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems.
  • Assessing the health care needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
  • Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
  • Developing care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols.
  • Providing counselling and health education.
  • Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards.
  • Prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary.
