Key Account Technical Consultant

Industry: Security and Surveillance

Job Type: Full time

Description: Deliver high quality products, solutions, and services to Dahua's clients. Engage with Tech, Sales, Marketing, Operation Departments and distributors to improve Dahua business performance and reputation, ensuring sustained growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and advising on video surveillance equipment to sales staff and customers.
  • Maintain good relationships with distributors, system integrators, and installers. Listen to their feedback on Dahua's products.
  • Communicate with the Headquarters on new product lines and technical issues.
  • Carry out site surveys, customer training/demos, project support, and product promotion to the market.
  • Test and diagnose faults, and undertake repair of video surveillance equipment.
  • Provide product training to technical engineers for channel customers, improving their technical knowledge.
  • Consolidate demands, gather product information and feedback from the market, and report back to the product department.
  • Provide project support, helping customers prepare tender documents, and making project tenders according to required standards.
  • Cooperate with the Marketing Team to develop promotional materials for customers.
  • Participate in training sessions for new starters in the Technical Department.

Key Attributes:

  • Full clean UK driving license;
  • Right to work in the UK;
  • Prior experience in technical support;
  • Good customer service skills and communication skills;
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV, alarm, access control, door entry, video conference, VMS, cloud storage, video wall, video/audio matrix, network, and industrial drone products;
  • Ability to handle pressures;
  • Fast learning of new technologies;
  • Positive attitude;
  • Initiative, honesty, and integrity.
