Management Accountant Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Management Accountant to join a well-established team within the industrial / manufacturing industry, focusing on driving financial performance and implementing effective financial strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate monthly management accounts
  • Provide financial advice to department managers to aid strategic planning
  • Analyse financial trends and forecast future company revenue
  • Monitor and review financial data, and prepare detailed reports for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Implement effective cost management strategies within the organisation
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards
  • Lead and develop the accounting team to ensure optimal performance
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of organisational financial strategies
Requirements:
  • A professional accounting qualification
  • Extensive knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience working in the industrial / manufacturing sector
  • Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset
  • Solid leadership skills and experience managing a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
