Job Title: Senior Process Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Design Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our Chemical & Biological Treatment division, you will be responsible for providing process design input, formulating and developing designs for clients, and providing direction and technical guidance to the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide process design input and formulate designs for clients
  • Develop and implement process design solutions
  • Lead design meetings and ensure compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards
  • Act as a Design Lead for specific projects
  • Specify temporary treatment requirements to ensure no consent breaches occur during construction activities
  • Respond to engineering queries raised during the project construction stage
Requirements:
  • Strong technical knowledge in process design and operation of water and wastewater projects
  • Demonstrable experience in process engineering or a similar industry environment
  • Process design engineering experience within municipal water/wastewater is highly desirable
  • Ability to work alone or supervise a team
  • Experience of working at all design stages, from optioneering/FEED through to construction support and As-Built is highly desirable
  • Experience of plant commissioning and/or plant operation is preferable
  • Some knowledge of strategic planning and risk management processes
  • Possess the ability to work on multiple projects consecutively
  • Full UK Driving Licence
