Capital Projects Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capital Projects Manager to join our team at the Diocese of Oxford. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient administrative service to our schools and other properties.

About the Role

This is a hybrid-working role, with flexibility to work from home for up to 40% of the working week. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders, including school leaders, contractors, and other diocesan teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating contracts to ensure they are carried out within costs, on time, and to the correct quality level.
  • Providing administrative support to the property management team, including managing diocesan property records and maintaining accurate records of capital projects.
  • Working closely with school leaders and other diocesan teams to ensure that capital projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with contractors and other external partners to ensure that capital projects are delivered to a high standard.

Requirements

  • Project management experience, including experience of coordinating contracts and managing budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Access to a vehicle for work purposes and ability to travel across the diocese area within Oxford.
