Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon Vacancy

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at a first opinion small animal practice in the Luton area of Bedfordshire.

Job Summary:

This is a part-time vacancy working 24 hours each week with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, no Sundays, and no OOH. The practice is large, busy, modern, and well-equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, tonopen, multiparameter monitoring equipment, blood haematology and biochemistry, bair huggers, and blood pressure machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine small animal surgical and medical procedures
  • Work alongside an experienced 3 Vet team, including a Certificate holder in small animal surgery
  • Contribute to a varied surgical and medical caseload and 50:50 consulting and surgery role
  • Participate in CPD funding and Certificate-supported professional development
  • Enjoy a well-located practice with great transport links, easy access to M1, direct trains to central London, and close proximity to London Luton Airport
Requirements:
  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Registered with the RCVS
  • Good routine small animal surgical and medical skills
