PR & Communications Manager (Superyachts) - Fixed Term Contract - London - £60k plus bonus

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance the brand visibility of a global yacht management company based in London. The role is a fixed term contract to provide maternity cover, requiring a dynamic and experienced PR & Communications Manager to join the team.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a passion for luxury services, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in public relations and corporate communications in the yachting industry.

  1. Developing Strategic Communication Plans: Design and implement innovative PR and communication strategies that align with the company's goals and enhance its reputation within the yacht management sector.
  2. Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation of compelling content for press releases, newsletters, blog posts, and social media platforms, ensuring all communications reflect the company's brand voice and messaging.
  3. Event Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate promotional events, press conferences, and industry trade shows to promote the company's brand and services.
  4. Crisis Management and Communication: Develop crisis communication strategies and manage communication during critical incidents to protect the company's reputation.
  5. Market Research and Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for communication initiatives and maintain the company's competitive edge.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure cohesive messaging and brand alignment across all channels.
  7. Performance Measurement and Reporting: Analyze and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns, utilizing metrics to refine strategies and improve outcomes.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in PR and communications within the yachting industry.
  3. Must have superyacht experience as you will be working closely with yachting journalists/publications.
  4. Strong understanding of media landscape and experience in building media relationships.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  6. Proficient in social media platforms and content management systems.
  7. Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative communication strategies.
  8. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
