Project Engineer / Technical Support

Your Job

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Vandewiele. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our products, covering a range of tasks including:

  • Responding to customer inquiries and providing technical support via various channels.
  • Testing and validating new software releases to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Installing software remotely and on-site, providing training and sales support for new business opportunities.

Your Profile

We are open to both entry-level and experienced candidates, preferably with a background in manufacturing or a related field. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Strong technical understanding and ability to learn new technologies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems and Office applications.

Additional Experience

While training will be provided, experience or knowledge in the following areas will be beneficial:

  • Manufacturing: textiles, plastics, or other relevant industries.
  • IT skills: networking, databases, Microsoft Windows Server OS, XML, HTML, SQL, Power BI, Cloud Systems, virtualization, scripting.
