Lead Insight-Led Media Planning for John Lewis Partnership

At the John Lewis Partnership, we're seeking a seasoned professional to drive our Retail Media maturity and planning capabilities. As Data-Driven Media Strategy Lead, you'll devise and deliver an effective strategy for Insight-led Media planning, leveraging current sources of Insight to support Media planning.

This role requires strong analytical skills, commercial experience working with brands, and expertise in data analysis. You'll work closely with our Insight vendor partners to maximize Insight capability available and cascade the Insight-led Media planning strategy and approach with Media Sales teams.

About the Role
  • Devise, lead, and own the strategy for Insight-led Media planning for the lines of business
  • Cascade and embed Insight-led Media planning strategy and approach with Media Sales team
  • Create framework and templates for Media Sales teams to follow for Media plan creation
  • Deliver training on Insight-led Media planning approaches and model effective supplier engagement
  • Act as SME and single point of contact for Media Sales and cross-functional teams on Insight-led Media planning
Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for delivering key milestones, supporting insight generation and interpretation for strategic supplier top-to-tops and key annual planning meetings, and owning the capability roadmap for evolving Insight-led Media planning practice.

Essential Skills
  • Significant experience using data and insight to build Media proposals for brands
  • Commercial experience working with brands
  • Relevant experience working in brand and marketing teams for suppliers, retailers, or agencies
  • Experience working with complex projects and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Evidence of strong written and verbal communication
