About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join our team at a vibrant secondary school in Enfield. This is a Supply Music Teacher position with excellent opportunities to inspire and nurture students' musical talents across various year groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in music, ensuring students meet the expected curriculum standards.
• Organise and maintain the classroom and associated resources, instruments, and equipment, promoting a safe and effective learning environment.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school, to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning community.
• Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback, promoting student growth and development.
• Comply with the school's policies and implement them reliably, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification, demonstrating a strong foundation in music education.
• Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Music Teacher in a Secondary School setting, showcasing your expertise and ability to adapt to different learning environments.
• Exhibit good classroom and behaviour management skills, ensuring a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
• A relevant music-related degree is highly desirable, demonstrating your passion and commitment to music education.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS, guaranteeing your suitability to work with children and young people.
