About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer Professional to join our team at Employment Solutions. This role involves creating detailed 3D models, general arrangement drawings, and design-for-manufacture outputs to ensure efficient project delivery for a worldwide manufacturer of protection systems.

This position is ideal for a skilled and experienced Design Engineer with a strong background in industrial sheet or steel fabrications. If you thrive on innovation, have a keen eye for detail, and are comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders, this position will offer professional growth and exciting challenges.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Developing 3D models and 2D drawings in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD to meet project specifications.
  • Ensuring designs comply with product assurance and health & safety regulations, including CDM standards.
  • Collaborating with analysis engineers to align theoretical and practical design outputs.
  • Driving continuous improvement and contributing to research and development initiatives.
  • Attending design and manufacturability reviews, effectively communicating design intent.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary ranging from £32k to £39k depending upon your experience.
