Our client, a dynamic beauty sector business, is seeking a skilled Accounts Associate to support their day-to-day accounting activities. As a key member of their team, you will have the opportunity to grow and take on increased responsibilities in a sociable and supportive work environment.

This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday role, working in a fully office-based setting. You will be responsible for:

  • Raising sales invoices and managing the sales ledger
  • Posting and reviewing supplier invoices, as well as reconciling supplier statements
  • Allocating payments and performing bank reconciliations
  • Preparing weekly payment runs and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Providing credit control and assisting with month-end and year-end activities

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • At least one year's experience in an accounts or finance department
  • AAT qualification or similar is highly desirable
  • Previous experience with an accounting system and Microsoft Office
  • Numerical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • An interest in the beauty or fashion industry
