About the Role
We are seeking a Support Worker to join our Children and Young People's Short Breaks service in Clevedon. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering young people to live the lives they want to lead.
Key Responsibilities
- To develop daily living skills and support individuals to access their communities for social activities, employment, training, or friendships.
- To contribute to, develop, and implement individual care plans.
- To communicate effectively and professionally with individuals, their family members, and external professionals.
- To maintain the health needs of the individuals we support.
Requirements
- Good communication skills.
- A positive and patient approach.
- Resilience and respect for people's differences.
- Ability to build professional relationships.
- Confident problem-solving and creative thinking.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Full UK driving license is essential.
