Job Title: Area Sales Manager Scotland

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover Scotland and Cumbria. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering sales objectives and developing strong relationships with retailers in the assigned area.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain business relationships with retailers at all levels.
  • Integrate with retailer sales teams to provide training, support, and contact.
  • Accountable for achieving sales objectives on new vehicles and accessories.
  • Support the 'Future Sales' programme and 'Ready To Do Business' initiative.
  • Drive retailer activity, including marketing at a local level.
  • Ensure retailer staff are trained and premises are clean and tidy.
  • Analysis and action related to customer experience and sales CSi metrics.
  • Setting, monitoring, and evaluating retailer-specific action plans.
  • Support wider retailer meetings and present retailer business objectives.
  • Share best practice to boost sales pace.
  • Ensure retailer marketing is integrated with UK advertising and meets our code of conduct.
  • Timely and accurate submission of sales forecasts.
  • In-depth review of reporting and data systems.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Required:

  • Experience of selling and achieving commercial targets.
  • Good communication and relationship skills.
  • Proven analytical skills to review data and provide quality information and actions.
  • Broad knowledge of the sector, including competitor activity.
  • Able to work alone and in a team within the assigned geographical area.
  • Driving license and flexibility for overnight stays as required.

Desirable:

  • Relevant experience to provide expertise and ensure role credibility with retailers.
  • Understanding and support of the current Ki Auto Business Plan and related ASM activities.
