Senior Draughtsman

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Draughtsman to join our team at a blue-chip SME in Basildon, Essex. As a Senior Draughtsman, you will be responsible for interpreting architects' and engineers' drawings, specifications, and calculations to create fabrication and GA drawings for accurate manufacture and installation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret architects' and engineers' drawings, specifications, and calculations
• Creation of fabrication and GA drawings to enable accurate manufacture and installation
• Work to deadlines
• Work with structural engineers, production & installation teams
• Conduct site surveys when required
• Manage RFI's and site queries
• Assist workshop with drawing queries

Requirements:

• Excellent organisational ability and ability to prioritise workloads
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work on own or within a team
