Aircraft Production Planner

Our client is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join their team on a Fixed Term Contract basis. As a key member of the LGW 145 Production planning department, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the team. Your responsibilities will include being the point of contact for any Production Planning issues during execution and preparation for customer maintenance inputs. You will represent the company's Gatwick team at all required customer meetings, working closely with the Technical Engineers to ensure deliverable plans are driven to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement robust production plans for maintenance inputs, including building work packages in AMOS and inputting technical data.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for Production Planning at all times.
- Collaborate with Management and QA to build accurate Man Hour and Hangar Bay plans for review.
- Represent Production Planning during internal and external audits.
- Work closely with the Lead Production Planning Engineer to create cross-team dynamics and ensure all processes and procedures are monitored and kept up to date.
- Verify that prior to the start of input, there have been no revision changes to the approved data.
- Prior experience on widebody and/or ETOPS aircraft is an advantage.
- Aircraft Engineering Degree is preferable.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a maintenance planning environment.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of production planning principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in AMOS and other relevant software.
- Security Clearance: Must be able to achieve a London Gatwick Airside Pass.
