About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician Apprentice to join our team at Precision for Medicine. As a Laboratory Technician Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in supporting our scientists in the laboratory, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, and contributing to the development of new treatments for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inventory, and process fresh patient samples and nonclinical samples to tissue block
  • Perform basic support for immunohistochemistry (IHC) assays
  • Conduct laboratory housekeeping and organization
  • Prepare associated laboratory reagents
  • Manage biosample inventory
  • Assist other scientists with assays as required
Requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and absorb new skills
  • Capable of following instructions and procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
