Greenkeeping Apprentice

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Greenkeeping team at The Belfry Hotel and Resorts. As a Golf Course Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the exceptional quality of our golf courses and living landscape.

• Undertake general course maintenance on a daily basis, including raking, edging, re-sanding, and debris clearance to the required standards.
• Assist in bunker maintenance, including raking, edging, re-sanding, and debris clearance.
• Operate machinery in line with health and safety regulations and operational standards.
• Carry out general mowing duties on a daily basis, including greens, tees, fairways, rough, and semi-rough areas.
• Participate in construction and course improvements.
• Represent The Belfry Hotel and Resorts in a professional and courteous manner, adhering to all standards to a high degree.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety aspects concerning the department.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about outdoor working, has a good teamwork ethic, and is motivated with a positive outlook, attitude, and good customer service skills. You should have a desire to progress within Greenkeeping and be willing to learn and develop your skills.
