Parking Project Manager Job Description

Service Care Solutions - Construction is seeking a highly skilled Parking Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering complex parking services projects, developing and implementing policies, and creating a parking strategy for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Delivery: Plan, manage, and deliver a range of strategically important parking services projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various departments, project sponsors, and stakeholders to deliver agreed project outcomes, allocate resources, and ensure a consistent corporate approach.
  • Project Governance: Provide regular progress updates and advice to senior management, project sponsors, and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Best Practice and Innovation: Offer guidance and challenge to project sponsors on effective project delivery approaches, share best practices, and provide innovative ideas for post-implementation service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Project Management Qualification: Possess a recognized project management certification, such as PRINCE2, Project Management Professional, or Agile.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate the ability to work flexibly, including occasional work outside of regular hours, to meet the needs of the business.
  • Service Transformation Knowledge: Have knowledge of innovative approaches to transforming services in local government and their practical application.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to empathize with others, influence, negotiate, and persuade peers and senior stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
