Job Title: Software Engineer III - iOS Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced iOS Software Engineer to join our team at Nutmeg Saving and Investment Limited. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality features for our native iOS application.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver product features using an Agile SDLC
  • Take ownership of tasks from estimation to release and post-production
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects
  • Write tests and adhere to best practices for high-quality code
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous development and learning
  • Collaborate on technical initiatives to improve the codebase and toolset

Requirements

  • Commercial experience in native iOS mobile application development
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented programming with Swift and Xcode
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with unit testing using XCTest framework
  • Experience with MVVM + Coordinator design pattern
  • Good knowledge of core iOS libraries and frameworks
  • Experience with iOS application deployment and automated CI/CD processes
  • Good understanding of REST and APIs
  • Experience with Git flow and good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with UI testing using XCUITest or other frameworks
  • Experience with Design Systems and modularisation
  • Appreciation for Accessibility and understanding of security considerations
  • Experience with feature flagging and A/B testing methodologies
