HSQE Consultant

Solution 47 Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled HSQE Advisor to join our client based in Bury St Edmunds. This is a permanent office/site based role.

The role involves providing competent health, safety, quality (assurance), and site environmental advice. Ensuring inspections and guidance for the site staff and management team are carried out. Providing challenge where required and not walking by. Promoting safe equipment, standards, and methods of working. Leading by example each and every time.

Qualifications and Training:

• NEBOSH
• Mental Health First Aider
• Driving License
• Report writing course
• Behavioural Safety Training including TCUP

Desirable Qualifications:

• CSCS
• EUSR
• PTS

Knowledge and Experience:

• Understanding of working methods
• Industrial knowledge across the infrastructure Services areas of Business
• Basics of management systems
• Site inspections and risk assessment experience
• Site experience
• Reviewing CDM and industry
• Sustainability and carbon capture

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent listening behaviours
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work weekends when required
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Ability to use IT systems including Microsoft 365, and HSQE specific systems
• Excellent time management and relationship skills, comfortably working effectively within a broad range of working environments
