Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our team in Cheshire East.

This is a contract role offering competitive pay rates and the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years+ UK Social Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team and will be responsible for assessing children's needs, conducting child protection work, and managing a caseload.

Salary: £Negotiable dependent on experience and pay scheme selected (approximately £25-£35 per hour)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve high-quality assessments and risk management plans
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of children
  • Manage a case load of complex social work cases
  • Conduct home visits and engage with families
  • Represent the local authority in court proceedings

Requirements:

  • DipSW or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the HCPC
  • Current DBS clearance
  • Valid car driver's license
