Senior Human Capital Management Partner

As a key member of the Workday Support Team at Arriva Corporate Centre, you will be responsible for the delivery and continuous improvement of Human Capital Management (HCM) processes and implementation of updates and changes to configuration, security, and business processes in Workday.
About the RoleThis full-time position is based within our London or Sunderland office, with a minimum of 2 days per week spent collaborating with colleagues in either location. The role operates Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, with 1 hour lunch break each day. As an expert in Workday HCM, core compensation, and onboarding, you will maintain, change requests, and upgrades across these areas.
Main Responsibilities- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Workday HCM, core compensation, and onboarding, responsible for the maintenance, change requests, and upgrades across these areas.
- Support other functional specialists to deliver the Workday support team's solution for HCM, building relationships with key stakeholders to agree on continuous improvements for core HR transactions and processes.
- Host and facilitate workshops and demonstrations virtually and in-person to help stakeholders understand what good looks like in terms of HCM processes.
- Utilise Workday Community and Workday Success Plans to understand best practice, market trends, and remain connected with Workday to bring relevant opportunities to the company.
- Responsible for assessing all change impacts in relation to reporting and analytics following the governance model in place to reduce risk and identify improvement.
- Support in maintaining training activities and materials, including user guides, FAQ, recorded demos, Sharepoint content, etc.
We are looking for analytical candidates experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to core HR processes and interaction between HR and payroll/other external systems such as time recording and recruiting.
Candidates must have experience with Workday System and either attained Workday Pro HCM or working towards this.
Experience working in a multi-national organisation, working with multi-business implementations, sales and divestitures, and the impact on Workday is preferred.
