About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Assistant to join our Administration/Reception Team at Westminster Surgery. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our GPs, clinicians, and service users, ensuring the smooth operation of our surgery.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing reception duties, handling patient queries, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to GPs, clinicians, and service users
  • Manage reception duties, including answering phone calls and responding to patient queries
  • Maintain accurate records and databases
  • Perform general office duties, such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
  • Support the team in achieving our goals and objectives
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 Business and Administration or equivalent/or relevant administration experience
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge and understanding of Data Protection Act
  • Typing experience
