Job Title: Programme Planning Manager

As a Programme Planning Manager at NHS Arden & GEM CSU, you will be responsible for leading the planning, scheduling, and reporting efforts for complex, multi-project programmes. Using your expertise in MS Project, you will create and oversee programme-level schedules that integrate various project timelines, ensuring all components align with high-level strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage programme plans, creating and overseeing programme-level schedules using MS Project.
  • Strategic stakeholder management, providing updates to senior leadership and managing expectations with senior stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Risk and dependency management, identifying and managing risks and dependencies across multiple project workstreams.
  • Progress monitoring and strategic reporting, generating regular reports on programme performance and strategic progress.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale, complex programmes, ideally comprising multiple interrelated projects.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders at a strategic level.
  • Expertise in developing programme-level plans from scratch using MS Project.
  • Strong ability to manage programme-wide risks and dependencies, with experience across multiple industries or sectors.
