Civil Engineer Planning Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team as an Assistant Planner. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for creating, amending, and updating construction programmes, engaging with stakeholders, and analyzing potential programme risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programme Development: Create, amend, and update construction programmes detailing activity-based lists of sequential works with milestones, start/finish dates, durations, critical paths, resources, and labour/plant/material resources.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders and address potential changes and obstacles to the programme.
- Risk Analysis: Analyze potential programme risks, develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions to project schedules, and provide recommendations and solutions to keep projects on track.
- Commercial Support: Support estimating/commercial team and quantity surveyors to advise on project progress and change in commercial events/improvements.
Requirements:
- Education: A degree or certificate in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Communication Skills: Great communication skills.
- Professional Approach: A punctual and professional approach to tasks.
- Determination: Determination to kick on and start an illustrious career.
