As a Big Data Platform Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our AI-powered platform by designing and implementing scalable systems architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect & Build: Design and implement secure, efficient, and adaptable systems architecture for our data platform.
  • Innovate: Develop novel methodologies to maximize data usage and contribute to drug repurposing discoveries.
  • Collaborate: Partner with researchers, data scientists, and tech translators to integrate biological and medical insights into the platform.
  • Communicate: Translate complex engineering approaches into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across scientific and business domains.

What You'll Bring:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in software development, with a strong foundation in data modeling and big data technologies.
  • Proficiency in general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) and big data platforms (SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, BigQuery).
  • Expertise in data structures, algorithms, and Unix/Linux systems.
