Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shunter Driver to join our expanding Operations Department. This position is a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern, with hours of work from 6AM to 6PM.

Main Responsibilities

• Safely operate a shunter unit in the yard, ensuring the efficient movement of trailer units.
• Responsible for the safe movement of trailer units within the yard, adhering to strict safety protocols.
• Unload and tip trailers, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct regular safety checks and inspections to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a shunter driver, with a strong understanding of yard operations.
• A shunter license is an advantage, but not essential. Forklift experience or a license would be beneficial.
• Ability to work independently, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
