Job Summary
We are seeking a Cleaning and Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleaning and maintenance across the School, providing a clean and safe environment for students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning and maintenance tasks to a high standard, including dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
- Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the Facilities Manager
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Cleaning Department to achieve shared goals and objectives
- Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations and guidelines
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand and follow written instructions
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the School
Working Hours
The successful candidate will be required to work 20 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 13:00 (Houses).
