Job Summary

This role within our UK Finance Team is based in our Portlethen Aberdeen Offices. The role has been created to support and work closely with our current Statutory Accountant and to prepare management accounts for Europe & Sub-Sahara Africa Regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support with the preparation and submission of accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with local regulations.
  • Ensure timely filing of TAX Returns, VAT, and any other statutory obligations.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as necessary.
  • Perform review and analysis of financial statements with business segment owners.

Requirements

  • Recognized Accounting Qualification or actively studying towards Qualification – Essential
  • Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures – Essential
  • Good project and people management abilities – Desired but not Essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team – Essential
  • Advanced Excel Skills – Essential
  • Excellent communication skills – Essential
  • Oracle & FMS Systems Experience – Desired but not Essential
