Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Merchandising Specialist to join our team at Asda. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for placing point-of-sale (POS) materials in designated areas of the store to support various brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sign into the store and introduce yourself to key store contacts
  • Liaise with store colleagues to locate previously delivered POS materials
  • Place bollard covers, promotional barkers, and other POS materials in pre-arranged sections of the store
  • Use a stepladder to place media at height

Requirements

  • Ability to reach the agreed store location every Thursday to complete visits
  • Flexibility to work between 6am and 4pm on Thursdays, with varying hours each week
  • Ownership of a smartphone (Android or Apple) to report visits in-store
  • Comfortable using a stepladder to place POS at height
  • Proficiency in navigating app-based systems
  • Ability to work in-store, navigating around the store and potentially moving heavier boxes of POS or stock
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with POS materials
